Breath-Body-Mind Integration

Thu 17 Oct 2019 @ 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Come and investigate with Kate Binnie the body-mind link and the potential for cultivating wellbeing via an exploration of your own breath.

Breath is the foundation of our lived experience: if we are alive, we breathe! Yet for many reasons we can be tight, tense and wound-up in body (and mind) and this negatively affects our ability to take in and to let go of our breath. Contemporary neuroscience shows the bi-directional link between breath, brain and emotions to be of vital importance, especially for those living with asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), or other illness that causes breathlessness. But for anyone, becoming consciously aware of our breath can be a tool for living a calm and more spacious life. Whatever is going on with your lungs, your breathing, your body or your mind – this workshop is for you!

All Breathers Welcome. The workshop will take place in the Sanctuary of the atrium of the Brunel Building, Southmead Hospital, Bristol.

Tickets for this event are free, but please ensure that you book a ticket via Eventbrite to avoid disappointment: www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/breath-body-mind-integration-workshop-1-of-3-tickets-69993162433
